Building Materials Laboratory was founded for educational and research purposes. Some of the test devices and equipment used to determine physical and chemical features of building materials are listed below: 
• Computer-aided universal test machine (150 - 200 tones of capacity) used to test pressure, tensile and bending strengths
• Standard concrete curing tank
• Concrete mixers
• Rebound hammer
• Settlement test set
• Screening machine and sets.
