Objective: To be familiar with the procedures used at civil engineering design offices. To present the experiences gained at the design office through verbal, written, and graphical means.
Content: This is a summer practice course that the students should complete at the end of the sixth semester in the Civil Engineering program. Students are expected to follow the procedures used during the design phase of various types of civil engineering projects for a period of 30 days and prepare a report at the end of this period. Students are also expected to make a presentation summarizing their experiences during the practice period.
