Objective: To be familiar with the procedures used at various stages of construction of a civil engineering structure. To present the site observations through verbal, written, and graphical means.
Content: This is a summer practice course that the students should complete at the end of the fourth semester in the Civil Engineering program. Students are expected to follow the construction procedures at a site for a period of 30 days and prepare a report at the end of this period. Students are also expected to make a presentation summarizing their experiences during the practice period.
